:::Not really an oversight, you can just only tuck a Pokémon in once per in-game day cycle. There are plenty of other mechanics that work daily as well (getting the weather stones near Icirrus City, doing the daily quiz in Icirrus, the daily find of the treasure hunter south of Undella Town, the feeling checker, etc.).
