::::::I've watched that part again. Araragi and Oak say that Pikachu absorbed too much electricity, so he's overloaded and can't use his electric moves as he wishes. Ash asks if Pikachu would stay in that state permanently, but than Zekrom arrives and strikes another thunder at Pikachu, that looks to go berserk (he can't control the thunders that are flowing out - look at that with attention). That moment, Ash's act as a ground wire (^_^') and everything is ok \o/. Case solved, Zekrom don't have the ability to steal electricity. Blow 14:00, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

:::::::Perhaps it should be mentioned that it can strike its fellow Electric types with enough energy to cause them to be unable to control their Electricity? I don't know. But thanks, Blow. --Mackinz of SoulSilver 14:45, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

::::::::Let's say Ash's Pikachu have the Lightningrod ability. But Zekrom have Teravoltage ability, which allows him to strike through Pikachu's ability. Then, it would be reasonable that, instead of being converted (without damage to Pikachu) and raising Pikachu's Special Attack, Zekrom's lightning stroke Pikachu's inner parts, as in Pikachu's Special abilities description: "As Pikachu builds up energy in its electricity glands, it often needs to discharge, as to not result in a short, or worse, which can lead to physical Paralysis, or in severe cases, death.". I mean, even a lightning rod can fail its purpose if it isn't designed to properly receive the energy of a thunder. Blow 16:55, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
