Should Zekrom be mentioned in the "In The Anime" Section as showing up in a thunderstorm? After all, it was there, even if it was only in the storm. --[[User:Pokemon26|Pokemon26]] 18:12, 3 October 2010 (UTC) | Should Zekrom be mentioned in the "In The Anime" Section as showing up in a thunderstorm? == Possible Zekrom Origin ==
This is just a speculation, but may be a possible origin to Zekrom.
In the first episode of BW, Professor Araragi says:
この ちほう に いい つたえ 「きょだい な かみなりぐも は ひと と ポケモン を みまもる かみ に いる」 「いくつもの いなずま の かみ に よる さばき の てっつい と てん を ささえる はしら とも いわれて」
I don't know how the english fansubs translated it, but the portuguese missed some important words, what made me search for a better translation.
Here's what I've understood of it:
"There's a legend in this region: In a cloud of thunders exists a god who watches over people and Pokémon. He's called the god of inumerous lightnings who wields the judgement hammer and that sustains the heavens as a pillar."
That part about "Judgement hammer" and the fact that Zekrom controls thunders reminded me of [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thor Thor], from the Norse Polytheism.
Until now, I have only those clues, so I can't say for sure, but it is something worth to look for. Blow 18:53, 6 October 2010 (UTC) |
