::Actually, it happened to me too. I received a Fast Ball instead of a Lure Ball after I defeated Proton in the Slowpoke Well. Is it kind of a random event? Because something similar happened to me in Violet City where I found a Red Shard instead of a Yellow one behind the smashable rock.
