:::Okay, It's ready now. I've discussed it with a few admins and we feel that the PP should be similar. Something like Flamethrower, Thunderbolt and Ice Beam, where they are pretty much the same but the PP differs by 5 is fine, but something where the PP difference was bigger than five wouldn't be. If you would like to change that in the intro that would be nice. I'll write up full documentation for the template now, because there are several parameters that the Elemental Fangs didn't use. [[User:Werdnae|Werdnae]] [[User talk:Werdnae|(talk)]] 20:21, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

Example

I want to use this template but have no idea how. Could someone show me how you would use this on the elemental fangs as an example? Here's the current table:

65 power, 95% accuracy, may cause non-volatile status and/or make the target flinch
Name Type Category Generation PP
Fire Fang Fire Physical IV 15
Ice Fang Ice Physical IV 15
Thunder Fang Electric Physical IV 15

It shouldn't be used in the mainspace until this page has been moved to the templatespace, and I'm sorta waiting for people to decide whether PP should be included, as the template may need to be modified slightly. Once it is though, you would put that as:
{{mvar/h|15|power=65|acc=95|notes=may cause non-volatile status and/or make the target flinch}}
{{mvar|Fire Fang|Fire|Physical|IV}}
{{mvar|Ice Fang|Ice|Physical|IV}}
{{mvar|Thunder Fang|Electric|Physical|IV}}
|}
|}
Doing so would give this:
15 PP, 65 Power, 95% Accuracy
may cause non-volatile status and/or make the target flinch
Move Type Cat. Gen PP
Fire Fang Fire Physical IV
Ice Fang Ice Physical IV
Thunder Fang Electric Physical IV
If people decide that PP isn't required to be the same for variations then I'll remove that from the header (remove the |15 from above) and add it to each entry (add a |15 to the end of each move's template). Werdnae (talk) 19:11, 5 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
