Release information

This card was included as both a Regular card and an illustration rare card in the Scarlet & Violet expansion, first released in the Japanese Violet ex expansion. The Regular print features artwork by HYOGONOSUKE, while the illustration rare print features artwork by Teeziro. In Japan, the Regular print was reprinted in the Shiny Treasure ex subset, alongside a Shiny rare print featuring new artwork by Sanosuke Sakuma. This Shiny rare print was then included in the Paldean Fates expansion.

Trivia

The Regular print of this card forms a combined illustration with eight other cards released in the Scarlet & Violet Series of the Pokémon TCG: Magikarp, Palossand, Combee, Lechonk, Horsea, Gligar, Swablu, and Mime Jr. All nine cards feature illustrations by HYOGONOSUKE and were first released in Japan in 2023. The full combined illustration is featured on the つながるせかい Tsunagaru Sekai (lit. "Connected World") line of TCG card sleeves.
