Scyther (Japanese: ストライク Strike) is a Grass-type Basic Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Celestial Storm expansion.
Card text
Search your deck for up to 2
Scyther and put them onto your Bench. Then, shuffle your deck.
Flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to this Pokémon during your opponent's next turn.

While young, they live together deep in the mountains, training themselves in how to fight with their scythes and move at high speeds.

Release information
This card was included in the Celestial Storm expansion with artwork by Hajime Kusajima, first released in the Japanese Champion Road subset. A new print with artwork by Shigenori Negishi featuring the Shiny version of Scyther was included in the Hidden Fates expansion, first released in the Japanese GX Ultra Shiny subset. The Celestial Storm print was later reprinted in the French McDonald's Collection 2019 as both a Non Holofoil and a Confetti Holofoil.

Agility is a move in the Pokémon games that Scyther can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Moon. This card is based on Scyther from EX Unseen Forces. The Hidden Fates print features the Shiny version of Scyther.
