In Japan, this card is reprinted as an M-P Promotional print numbered 021/M-P and is distributed as part of a McDonald's Japan campaign running from August 9 - 11, 2025. Customers who have bought a Pokémon Happy Meal set during this period are eligible to receive a Pikachu promo card and 1 random promo card selected from the following: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, Ralts, and Riolu.[1] The M-P Promotional print features the McDonald's logo. A second M-P Promotional print numbered 066/M-P is available in the Special Card Set Mega Gallade ex, which is released alongside the Nihil Zero expansion from January 23, 2026.[2]
It is reprinted in the Ascended Heroes special expansion, originating from the Japanese MEGA Dream ex subset. Each release has two Mirror Holofoil variants featuring either a Psychic Energy symbol or a Love Ball.
