Release information

This card was first released in the Black & White expansion, originating from the Black Collection in Japan. In Japan, this card was reprinted as one of the BW-P Promotional cards in a ten card random pack released during the February 2011 Gym Challenge. It was later reprinted with new artwork by Kanako Eo in the Reshiram-EX and Zekrom-EX Battle Strength Decks. This print was released in the English Dark Explorers expansion. The original print was later included in the Hydreigon and Garchomp Half Decks, the Master Deck Build Box EX, the Black Kyurem-EX and White Kyurem-EX Battle Strength Deck, and the Blastoise + Kyurem-EX Combo Deck. It was then released as a Full Art card in the Plasma Freeze expansion, originating from the Japnese Thunder Knuckle expansion, with new artwork by Kanako Eo. The original Black & White artwork was reprinted again in the English Plasma Blast expansion. Special Crosshatch Holofoil versions of the Black & White and Dark Explorers prints were made available to members of the Professor Program during the 2012-2013 Pokémon League Cycle.

Rulings

This card's effect is identical to Professor Sycamore. Because of this, errata was issued for both cards stating that only one or the other be included in the same deck, not both. This ruling later included Professor's Research.

Trivia

This card's effect is that of Professor Oak as a Supporter card.

Origin

Professor Juniper is the resident Pokémon Professor of the Unova region. Professor Juniper's lab is featured in the Regular print illustrations.
