Release information
Potion cards were first made available to purchase from the in-game shop on October 30, 2024 worldwide (September 26, 2024 in New Zealand) for 2 Shop Tickets each. One copy of Potion is also awarded to players who complete the mission "07: Attach Energy to your Benched Pokémon!" in the Battle Guide.
This card's effect is identical to that of the Potion card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game up to the Diamond & Pearl Series, when it allowed players to remove up to two damage counters (20 damage) from a Pokémon. The TCG card was altered in the Black & White expansion onward, after which it heals 30 damage instead.
Potion is an item in the Pokémon games that heals damage. This card depicts the Potion as it appears in the majority of core series games, where its most common effect is also to heal up to 20 HP.
