Pokeca Book (Japanese: ポケカブック Pokémon Card Book) is a Japanese fan site that focuses on the competitive aspects of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The site is most well-known for its coverage of local Japanese tournaments and the decks that win them.
Site
Pokeca Book regularly publishes Top 16 results for City League events across Japan. Deck lists are displayed as images of the cards, rather than written lists. The site also hosts articles that cover deck archetype strategies and rule explanations.
Tournament results
Pokeca Book has a tournament results tab that lists pages for tournaments taking place on specific dates and date ranges, dating back to the site's founding in early 2022. Each page shows the deck list for every deck that placed Top 16 at every tournament on that date. These pages are sorted by tournament venue.
Deck lists
The site has a section for winning lists that are grouped by deck archetype, rather than tournaments. Every winning archetype from the 2021-23 Standard format onwards has a dedicated page cataloging every deck list, including its placing and the specific tournament it appeared at. Archetype pages exist for both metagame staples and rogue decks that have not necessarily placed well at Premier Events.
Analyses
Tournament results are weighed and compiled into a metagame tier list, which updates weekly. The tier list is accompanied by an article that analyzes tier shifts and metagame trends.
Deck archetypes receive strategy articles, which are updated as new relevant cards enter the standard format. Popular cards with unusual gameplay interactions also receive their own pages with strategy tips and clarifications on legal moves.
When a new expansion releases, Pokeca Book highlights notable cards in the expansion.
