Pokémon the Movie XY Exhibition

Pokémon the Movie XY Exhibition: Meet Pikachu at the Roppongi Hills Observation Deck! (Japanese: Pokémon the movie XY展~六本木ヒルズ展望台でピカチュウに会おう!~) was a special exhibition held on the observation deck of the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower (known as Tokyo City View), in Tokyo, Japan, to celebrate the release of Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction. The exhibition opened on July 19, 2014 (the day the movie was released in Japan), and ran until August 31, 2014.[1][2]
Exhibition
To commemorate the 17th Pokémon movie Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction releasing in cinemas in Japan (alongside the Pikachu short Pikachu, What's This Key?), the Pokémon the Movie XY Exhibition featured behind the scenes information about the movie series, from the first film to the newest, along with an in-depth showcase of the world of the latest movie.

Pikachu Café

The Pikachu Café (Japanese: ピカチュウカフェ) was a pop-up café that opened as part of the exhibition, and access to the café was only available to those that had purchased tickets to the event.

Pokémon Center

The Pokémon Center Branch Office in the Pokémon the Movie XY Exhibition (Japanese: ポケモンセンター出張所 in Pokémon the movie XY展) was a temporary Pokémon Center store located within the exhibition (only open to ticket holders) that offered a selection of exclusive merchandise, as well as other items relating to the movies.

There was also a Rootote Factory (Japanese: ルートートファクトリー) within the store, where customers could create customised Rootote tote bags. The tote bags were ¥1,620 each, and could be adorned with XY Exhibition decorations (¥864 each) and/or Pokémon decorations (¥540 each).
