Pokémon Merlin Series 6
Pokémon cards featuring all Pokémon found in Hoenn were created by Pokémon Merlin cards subsidiary of Topps in 2004. Besides the name 'Merlin series 6', this set is also known as Merlin Advanced. The collection features 240 stickers in total starting with 2 berry cards, 203 numbered cards including all Pokémon from the generation 3 Hoenn Pokédex up to rayquaza and some of the generation 1 Kanto and generation 2 Johto Pokédex and finishing with 3 episode cards with artworks from the tv-series. There were also made 15 quiz cards that had letters to distinguish them. Lastly there are 20 poster cards.
Out of these 240 cards there are 35 sparkle / holo cards which were selected out of the artworks based on desirability.
The cards were sold in packs of seven and a sticker album was also made for the set. The cards can be best recognized by checking the backside of the cards. The trademark year is the best indicator, which out of the 7 sets the card is from.

The first two cards of the set do not have numbers on the backside. There are two different berries on them.

Normal cards
There are 203 numbered cards in this set. These mostly consist of individual pokemon with all generation 3 (Hoenn) pokemon up to rayquaza. Also many generation 1 (kanto) and generation 2 (johto) pokemon are on the artworks. The last 3 cards are episode cards from the tv-series.
Quiz / letter cards
There are also 15 quiz cards in this set. These cards did not have any information in the collectors album, but the names should be added oneself. These cards had letters on the backside to identify them.
