This Frienda Pick was packaged with the Super Connection! Pokémon Tera Orb RV, which was released on July 10, 2025. The product also included promotional Lucario and Meowscarada Frienda Picks.

Trivia

Origin

This Pikachu is based on Captain Pikachu, who was traveling with Roy in Pokémon Horizons: The Series at the time of the Frienda Pick's release. Pikachu's in-game model wears a captain's hat; "キャプテンピカチュウ", Captain Pikachu is also present in the top left of the Frienda Pick's illustration. An image of Roy would appear in-game when Pikachu was selected to attack for the first time. Volt Tackle is a move that Pikachu used in the animated series and one it can learn in the games.
