This Frienda Pick was given away as part of a FamilyMart purchase campaign that ran between December 16 and 29, 2025. To become eligible, customers at participating stores across Japan were required to bring a campaign exchange ticket (provided in-store) to a register when making a purchase of at least three eligible bread products. Attendants would then give eligible customers a copy of either this Frienda Pick or a Salamence Frienda Pick. The Frienda Pick features a QR code that led to a campaign page on the Official Pokémon Frienda website.

Players that used this Frienda Pick and recorded their activity with a Trainer Pick would unlock a Mega Metagross-themed outfit Dress-up Item to customize their avatar. Using this Frienda Pick at any time during the third Best Tag set would also provide a Limited Bonus! (Japanese: いまだけボーナス！), which would increase all values on the Attack Roulette by 10. This would stack with other bonuses.
