During your opponent's next turn, this Pokémon takes 30 less damage from attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance).
Nullifying Zero
ムニキスゼロ
For each of your opponent's Pokémon, flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 150 damage to that Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)
This card was included as a Regular card, a Full Artultra rare card, a special illustration rare card, and a gold-etched Mega hyper rare card in the Perfect Order expansion, first released in the Japanese Nihil Zero expansion. The Regular, Full Art ultra rare, and Mega hyper rare prints feature artwork by takuyoa, while the special illustration rare print features artwork by kantaro.
The order of operations for Mega Zygarde ex's "Nullifying Zero" attack goes as such: the player chooses one of their opponent's Pokémon and flips a coin to check for whether or not Nullifying Zero deals damage to that Pokémon.[1] This process repeats until all the opponent's Pokémon have been checked, and then damage is dealt.
The player must first choose one of their opponent's Pokémon before flipping the coin for Nullifying Zero; they may not retroactively assign a coin flip result to an opponent's Pokémon.[2]
The player may check their opponent's Pokémon for Nullifying Zero in any order (eg. checking the Active Pokémon first before the Benched Pokémon). This order does not affect the final outcome of the attack.[1][2]
All damage from Nullifying Zero are placed simultaneously after each Pokémon has been checked via the coin flips.[2]
If an opponent's Shaymin with the "Flower Curtain" Ability is in the Active Spot and its Nullifying Zero check results in heads, all of the opponent's Benched Pokémon (except for Pokémon with a Rule Box) are still protected by "Flower Curtain", as all damage are placed simultaneously before any checks for Knock Outs happen.[2]
