Kyōko Itō
Kyōko Itō (Japanese: 伊藤 京子 Itō Kyōko) is an animator, illustrator, and character designer who has worked on the Pokémon series. She is one of the chief animation directors and the additional character designer for Pokémon Horizons: The Series.
Itō began work on the series as an in-between animator under OLM, Inc. for Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon. By Revealing the Stuff of Legend!, she had moved to a position as a 2nd key animator. On Pokémon Journeys: The Series, she worked as a key animator and eventually also animation director for several main episodes as well as for the Team Rocket Expedition which stands by the evils of love and truth bonus segments.
She is credited as Ito Kyoko as an illustrator for the Trading Card Game. She illustrates exclusively for cards related to the animated series. Her first card was Fuecoco, one of the SVP Black Star Promos.
