Jolteon (Japanese: サンダースex Thunders ex) is a Lightning-type Stage 1 Pokémon ex card. It was first released as part of the Prismatic Evolutions expansion.

Release information

This card was included as a Regular card and a Full Art special illustration rare card in the Prismatic Evolutions special expansion, first released in the Japanese Terastal Fest ex subset. The Regular print features artwork by 5ban Graphics, while the special illustration rare print features artwork by kantaro.

A variant of the Prismatic Evolutions Regular print was available as a possible card in the Prismatic Evolutions Surprise Box from February 7, 2025. This variant features the Prismatic Evolutions expansion logo on the right side of the illustration.

In Japan, the Regular print of this card is reprinted in the Start Deck 100 Battle Collection.

Trivia

• The cost for the Dravite attack utilizes the three Energy types that represent the original three Eeveelutions: Fire (Flareon), Water (Vaporeon), and Lightning (Jolteon).
• The special illustration rare print of this card was first revealed in a video uploaded to the official Pokémon Card Channel on YouTube on November 23, 2024, two days after Eevee Day.

Origin

This card features a Terastallized Jolteon with the Stellar Tera Type. The Dravite attack is named after dravite, a variety of tourmaline that is typically brown or dark yellow in color.
