Jason Paige

Jason Paige (born 6 January 1969) is a singer who has worked on songs from English dub of the Pokémon anime. He is best known as the singer of the original Pokémon Theme. He also sang on the Viridian City track and provided background vocals for the Pokémon 2.B.A. Master soundtrack. Paige did a re-recording of the Pokémon Theme in July 2016 in response to Pokémon GO's popularity at the time. In an interview with New York Post, Paige did not expect that the Pokémon Theme would become extremely popular as he had little knowledge of Pokémon at the time but was aware of the seizure incident in EP038.

Paige has had an extensive career outside of Pokémon as well, known for his stand-up parody performances. He currently resides in New York City and was formerly the lead vocalist for the band Blood, Sweat & Tears.
