Release information

This card was included in the EX FireRed & LeafGreen expansion with artwork by Yukiko Baba, first released in the Japanese Flight of Legends expansion. In Japan, it was released in the Venusaur/Charizard/Blastoise Random Constructed Starter Decks on March 19, 2004.

Rulings

This card's evolution text reads "Evolves from Drowsee". The card received errata to be played as "Evolves from Drowzee", the correct spelling of the Pokémon. Had the card been ruled "play as printed", this card would have been able to evolve only from the set's Drowzee card, which has a similar error.
