Horsea is a character in Magical Pokémon Journey and Pokémon Chamo-Chamo ☆ Pretty ♪.

Horsea first appeared in Horsea's Necklace, in which he saved Hazel from drowning by giving her a scale that allowed her to breathe underwater. Later, Hazel helped him recover a lost necklace that was hidden in a Cloyster. Once retrieved, Horsea gave the necklace as a birthday gift to Lady Marryn, a mermaid he admires.

In Magikarp Journey, Horsea reunited with Hazel at the beach. He led her, Coconut, and their Pokémon into the ocean to find some Magikarp whiskers. When two Tentacruel attacked the group, Horsea fought back to allow them to escape. After he led everyone into the Magikarp's den, Horsea acted as a translator between the humans and the Magikarp, allowing them to acquire the whiskers.

Horsea reappeared in CCP06 when Torchic and her friends encountered it at the beach. He gave each a scale to let them breathe underwater, then assisted them in finding a Luvdisc after Torchic expressed interest in seeing one.
