Glaceon (Japanese: グレイシアex Glacia ex) is a Water-type Stage 1 Pokémon ex card. It was first released as part of the Prismatic Evolutions expansion.

Release information

This card was included as a Regular card and a Full Art special illustration rare card in the Prismatic Evolutions special expansion, first released in the Japanese Terastal Fest ex subset. The Regular print features artwork by 5ban Graphics, while the special illustration rare print features artwork by Kamome Shirahama.

Two variants of the Prismatic Evolutions Regular print were subsequently released. The first, which features the Prismatic Evolutions expansion logo on the left side of the illustration, was available as a possible card in the Prismatic Evolutions Surprise Box from February 7, 2025. The second, which features a silver snowflake stamp, was made available in the Holiday Calendar 2025 from August 22, 2025.

In Japan, the Regular print of this card is reprinted in the Start Deck 100 Battle Collection.

• The cost for the Euclase attack utilizes Grass and Water Energy, representing Eeveelution counterparts Leafeon and Glaceon, respectively.
• The special illustration rare print of this card was first revealed on the official Japanese X (Twitter) account of Pokémon on November 21 (Eevee Day), 2024, at 11:21 A.M. JST.

Origin

This card features a Terastallized Glaceon with the Stellar Tera Type. Frost Bullet is an attack that first appeared on Glaceon-GX from Ultra Prism. The Euclase attack is named after euclase, a beryllium-containing mineral usually blue in color.
