Release information

This card was one of three promotional cards released in conjunction with the Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest 2024.[1] It was available in a sealed pack with other SV Black Star Promos Pikachu and Toxtricity ex in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. In all five regions, the cards could be obtained as a bonus for purchasing Pokémon cards at local retailers beginning February 21, 2025. In the former three regions, the cards could also be obtained by entering a code at checkout on the Pokémon Center online store: draw2024us for the United States, draw2024ca for Canada, and draw2024uk for the United Kingdom. The Pokémon Center distribution lasted from February 21, 2025 to December 31, 2025 while supplies last. In the United States and Canada, the cards were also given out as a participation prize at Pokémon Leagues for Pokémon Day on February 27, 2025. In Japan, the set of three cards could be obtained as a bonus for purchasing a booster box of Hot Wind Arena beginning March 14, 2025 while supplies last.[2]

This card is illustrated by Acorviart, selected as the Best Standard Card Illustration winner for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest 2024. The contest logo is present above the Pokédex entry on all prints.
