Strength Expansion Pack Facing a New Trial (Japanese: 強化拡張パック 新たなる試練の向こう) is the name given to the second Japanese sub-set released during the Sun & Moon Era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. An enhancement of the second expansion, Islands Await You and Alolan Moonlight, it continues the introduction of Generation VII Pokémon into the card game, while providing new prints of Pokémon already included in the second expansion.

The Strength Expansion Pack Facing a New Trial is a 66 card subset released on April 21, 2017 in Japan. All the cards included within the sub-set are Mirror Holofoil. The Expansion Pack is considered a supplement to the second Sun & Moon Era expansion, Islands Await You and Alolan Moonlight, providing new prints of cards already introduced in the second expansion, while debuting additional Generation VII Pokémon.
