Page Title
I think this page should be titled 'Ancient artifacts' after the collection page. Then we could also add a section for the fossils too. Drjwho (talk) 00:18, 15 March 2026 (UTC)

- I agree however the page gives a list of all the items that the lost relics are appraised to be. Should each item be a separate page? I know the small relics are mostly their own pages already due to being items from the mainline games but the large relics are mostly furniture items. Should every item in the game be its own page?
- Maybe the best way would be to title the page 'List of ancient artifacts' and then have a section for small relics, large relics and fossils. While also mentioning the lost relics before they have been appraised? Drjwho (talk) 00:31, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
- I would think so we should treat items in this game like we would other items; they have similar functionality. It's just a mammoth of a task and we dont have a corpus to quickly parse things like flavour text, language names and image sprites that are core components of these pages. Also the list of what they can be appraised for is relevant to the individual relic so id just imagine the list goes to the corresponding page. 4iamking 00:49, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
- I think there's value in this page as-is, explaining all the mechanics of how lost relics are acquired and used. That's something shared between small lost relics and large lost relics, so putting it all on the individual relics' pages would result in a lot of duplicated information, and it's something they don't share with fossils, which don't need to be appraised and can't be given to Gimmighoul. - it doesn't duplicate that much tbh; its not much different than like a regular Repel vs a Super Repel, there is some duplication in effect sure but they are still unique. 4iamking 01:03, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
