No way! No, not really but taking Santa Claus as an example various Pokémon characters refer to characters referred to in myth or tradition in the real world. Should a new category be made for those based on mythical characters?

- Santa isn't so much named after someone as he actually IS based on someone. As for the mythical character category, I believe Santa would be the only one in there. --ケンジのガール 22:59, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
