booota
booota (Japanese: ぶーた) is a freelance Japanese illustrator who has contributed artwork to the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Her first cards were the Japanese exclusive SM-P Promotional cards Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix, released as part of the Vulpix's Crystal Season Special Box in 2017. booota would not illustrate another card for eight years, returning with the special illustration rare Pikachu ex in 2025's Start Deck 100 Battle Collection. Pikachu ex's Ascended Heroes print was booota's first card released in English.
During her absence from the TCG, booota also contributed bonus artwork for Project VOLTAGE.
booota has been illustrating since elementary school.[1] Outside the Pokémon series, booota has illustrated for light novels such as Loner Life in Another World and worked on Vocaloid projects such as the official SNOW MIKU 2026 design.[2] She occasionally hosts drawing livestreams on YouTube with a VTuber model.[3]
