(Japanese: 雨のち、ヌメラ。 After the Rain, Numera.) is a Pokémon manga by ネヲ Newo. It was first published on Poké Times from November 6, 2024 to February 13, 2025. It is 20 pages long.
During the initial publication of the manga, Poké Times would post daily updates at 5:00 PM JST, reporting on whether it had rained the previous day. If it had rained (the average precipitation rate was 1.0 mm per hour or higher at observation points in Sapporo, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka), a new page of the manga would be published. Weather information was provided by Weather News.[1]
The manga was posted again in its entirety on Poké Times on June 10, 2025 at 12:30 PM JST.
Plot
A Goomy finds a recipe for a pastry in a cookbook. Seeing that a Sitrus Berry is a required ingredient, Goomy goes outside to look for some. There, it finds a Spewpa, who leads Goomy into the forest to a small stash of the Berries. After taking one, Goomy heads back to its Trainer. Before they can reunite, Goomy is attacked by a Phantump who attempts to steal its Sitrus Berry. Goomy spews out an attack at it, scaring the Phantump away. The Trainer praises Goomy for doing a good job, upon which it evolves into a Sliggoo. The Trainer then uses the Sitrus Berry to make the pastry for the newly evolved Sliggoo.
Sometime later, Sliggoo returns to the forest to collect more Sitrus Berries. While doing so, Sliggoo bumps into the Spewpa it met while it was a Goomy. Sliggoo brings back the Sitrus Berries to its Trainer, but the Trainer points out that they have rotten spots, making them inedible. The Sliggoo ventures outside again to collect more Sitrus Berries, finding some hanging from a tree. It attempts to use an attack to knock the Berries from the tree, but its move is blocked by another's. The Phantump that had previously attacked Sliggoo emerges from a nearby bush, along with another Phantump. Both attempt to attack Sliggoo, however, they are intercepted by Spewpa, who receives the attack instead. As Sliggoo rushes to Spewpa's side, rain begins to fall. This leads Sliggoo to evolve into Goodra, whose appearance wards off the two Phantump.
Later, Goodra brings back a pile of Sitrus Berries to its Trainer, surprising them with its new appearance. The Trainer then makes a large pastry from all of the Sitrus Berries. Goodra and its Trainer present the pastry to Spewpa, who then joins the Trainer as one of their Pokémon.
