Wild zone

Wild zones (Japanese: ワイルドゾーン wild zone) are fenced-off areas scattered across Lumiose City, constructed as natural habitats for wild Pokémon to live and roam. They were introduced in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
The wild zones were built as part of the city's urban redevelopment plan driven by Quasartico Inc. in an effort to create a harmonious environment for both people and Pokémon. Each wild zone is enclosed by green holographic fences, with large numbered gates acting as entrances.
In the core series games
Pokémon Legends: Z-A
There are at least 13 wild zones in Lumiose City.
