Standard formats

 

The 2026-27 Standard format of the Pokémon Trading Card Game is the Standard format that will be used for Play! Pokémon organized play and in most sanctioned tournaments worldwide starting on April 10, 2026. It is used in Pokémon TCG Live since March 26, 2026.

Play period

The 2026-27 Standard format was announced on January 9, 2026. This format rotates out cards with the G regulation mark; this includes the first year of the Scarlet & Violet Series of expansions and cards.

Rule changes

Cards with the G regulation mark are rotated out. Cards with a H, I, J or later regulation mark remain legal.
