Welcome
Dark PulseWhere did you find this information? Is it from a reputable source? Excuse me if it's from somewhere obvious, I don't know anything about recent developments in the anime, I'm just checking ^^' --ZestyCactus 15:09, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
Online Episode PreviewsI'm sorry, but we don't go inserting any dub names in any way, shape, or form, even if it's in hide code, until the episode airs. Until the episode in question airs, no dub name is considered official. If we were to leave what the online preview listed there and the online preview turned out to be wrong, like what happened when Roland was called "Ian" in the online preview for the prior episode, Bulbapedia's reputation for having accurate anime information would take a hit. Furthermore, leaving said potentially-wrong information in hide code is basically inviting gun-jumpers to make a full reflection of that information as if it were already official, which is something we don't want. Pokémon.com's online previews/reviews have shown inaccuracies multiple times, too many times for us to consider such previews/reviews reliable, and it's in Bulbapedia's best interests to always wait until an episode airs before any attempt at reflecting dub names. I don't know why so many people nowadays are challenging Bulbapedia's "until it airs" policy the way they are, but if there's any doubt as far as dub names are concerned (which is always the case before the episode airs), we always leave it out completely. --Shiningpikablu252 01:37, 25 August 2010 (UTC) RE: RomanisationsMy apologies, I was just trying to add correct Ro-maji readings, as I noticed a couple were a bit out. (i.e. Poffin [english name], ポフィン pofin [ro-maji version]. there is no small letter ツ, so the >f< isn't doubled, meaning that the Japanese pronunciation isn't changed)
Name TableHey, I noticed you were adding the tables for the episode titles in other languages. Thanks for helping us with them, we really need the help. But please don't make this mistake, Chinese (Taiwan) refers to Mandarin (zh_cmn), not Cantonese (zh_yue). 神奇超龍 11:49, 28 August 2010 (UTC) Just CuriousWhen I went back to the alphabetical moves list page I started, there was a message saying it was slated for removal. The last edit listed was yours, and I'm wondering what you found wrong with it, besides the fact that it is far from complete. I don't see anything on that page that is contrary to the manual of style. Please let me know via email. Mine is [email protected]. Jengar 19:18, 2 September 2010 (UTC) Sorry to accuseThanks for explaining about the above. I didn't realize that the last bit actually was against the manual. The main reason I started the page was that it seemed that the moves could only be sorted alphabetically within each generational group. I guess it doesn't matter, though. Sorry if my last message seemed accusatory. I was rather upset at the time because it was the first page I had created, and it was already being deleted. I'm over it now, though.
