FINALLY

Introduction

Okay, for those of you who STILL don’t know me I am User Lapras because I just love the pokémon Lapras. I have two on all my games and they all have the same moveset: Attract, Ice Beam, Body Slam, and Thunderbolt. I have been playing pokémon for thirteen years now, and have gotten pretty good at it. Even though I am new here, I have had some editing experience on Wikipedia, so yes, I have been trained. I hope that I and the other editors have a fun time making this site as up to date and cool as possible!

Another new Pokémon of the day!

Today’s Pokémon of the Day is

***Slowbro!***

Slowbro is today’s pokémon. It can be defeated easily if the right moves are not taught. Its weaknesses are Ghost, Grass, Electric, Bug, and Dark, so you have to know how to play with it. The SUGGESTED moveset should help.

 1. Psychic
 2. Shadow Ball
 3. Ice Beam
 4. Earthquake

Alright, here’s the method to the madness: Psychic deals with Poison-types (who could tear down Slowbro’s perfect defense with Toxic by destroying his HP) and so does Earthquake. Also, Earthquake kills Electric-types who pose a great threat. Surf should be obvious on Slowbro, but the reason I didn’t include it here was because Earthquake takes out Fire-types, too, which was really Surf’s only purpose. Sure Surf was a STAB attack, but hey, so is Psychic. Ice Beam is for those pokémon who are like Dragonite: They have Thunder/Thunderbolt, but can’t be beaten by Earthquake. Lastly, Shadow Ball is a must have for all Psychic-type pokémon. Always, always, _always_ take advantage of a pokemon’s ability to learn its type weakness. For instance, if your Lapras is up against another Lapras, and you’ve taught it Thunder, you’re definitely going to win. (The same scenario can be used for Mewtwo with Shadow Ball, Charizard with Earthquake, Dragonite with Blizzard, etc.)Click here for a list of moves that Slowbro can learn in Generation Three. I hope this moveset helps you should you decide to use Slowbro on some type of pokémon team you may be composing.

A Friendly Reminder
