The Power Of One: The Pokémon 2000 Movie Special is a 2000 television special directed by R. Brian Dipirro. It aired on Kids WB on July 16, 2000 and was hosted by Kel Mitchell. This was a 30 minute special that was made to promote the newest Pokémon movie getting ready to be released in English at the time, Pokémon the Movie 2000: The Power of One.[1]
The special was made of various segments and included a few live performances of songs from the movie's soundtrack. There was another segment which covered some behind-the-scenes footage of how the soundtrack's music was produced, along with interviews from the artists featured on the soundtrack. There were guest appearances by Kobe Bryant, Christina Aguilera, 'N Sync, and David Gallagher, all of whom told inspirational stories which in all was centered around the theme of the movie which was power of one.
