In [[Pokémon Ultra Sun]] and [[Pokémon Ultra Moon]], it is mentioned by the [[Ultra Recon Squad]] that auras and [[Z-crystals]] in fact originate from the [[Legendary Pokémon]] [[Necrozma]]. In the old days of [[Alola]], Necrozma, [[Solgaleo]] and [[Lunala]] brought light to other worlds by traversing [[Ultra Wormholes]]. However, the ancestors of the Ultra Recon Squad grew greedy and sought to control Necrozma's light. This caused Necrozma to go mad and lose a part of its body. Origins of Auras
It is mentioned in the Generation Vii games. In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, it is mentioned by the Ultra Recon Squad that auras and Z-crystals in fact originate from the Legendary Pokémon Necrozma.
