I can understand you but at that time there was no concept of "Counter Shield" just like abilities.

If that's the case, there's contradictions... was it mentioned in the anime that Ash's Pikachu, Monferno, and Fantina's Drifblim specifically used this tactic then? If not, there's no significance to this page...
