This card was released in the English {{TCG|Base Set}} with artwork by [[Keiji Kinebuchi]], first originating from the Japanese {{TCG|Expansion Pack}}. This card was reprinted in the Squirtle Deck of the Japanese {{TCG|Intro Pack}}, the English {{TCG|Base Set 2}} expansion, the Japanese {{TCG|Nivi City Gym|Nivi}}, {{TCG|Kuchiba City Gym|Kuchiba}}, {{TCG|Tamamushi City Gym|Tamamushi}}, {{TCG|Yamabuki City Gym|Yamabuki}}, and {{TCG|Guren Town Gym}} theme decks, and both half decks of the Japanese {{TCG|Intro Pack Neo}}.

It was later reprinted in the Japanese {{TCG|Pokémon VS}} expansion with new artwork by the same artist. This print was reprinted in the English {{TCG|Expedition Base Set}}, originating from the Japanese {{TCG|Pokémon-e Starter Deck}}. This print updated the card effect to include the new Special Condition {{TCG|Burned}}.

Full Heal was later reclassified in Japan as an {{TCG|Item card}} during the LEGEND Era, though the English prints did not adopt this naming convention until the release of the {{TCG|Black & White}} expansion. This card was reprinted in the English {{TCG|HeartGold & SoulSilver}} expansion, originating from the Japanese {{TCG|SoulSilver Collection}}, with new artwork by [[Takashi Yamaguchi]]. This card was reprinted again in the English Black & White expansion with new artwork by [[5ban Graphics]], originating from the Japanese {{TCG|White Collection}}.

It was again reprinted with new artwork by [[5ban Graphics]] in the English {{TCG|Furious Fists}} expansion, originating as one of several Japanese {{TCG|XY-P Promotional cards}} that became available in a number of different card boxes. These included the {{TCGMerch|XY|Era|Card Box Xerneas•Yveltal including Energy Card}}, released on December 13, 2013, the {{TCGMerch|XY|Era|Card Box Primal Groudon•Primal Kyogre including Energy Card}}, released on December 13, 2014, and the {{TCGMerch|XY BREAK|Era|Card Box Mega Mewtwo X•Mega Mewtwo Y including Energy Card}}, released on September 26, 2015. It was reprinted as a {{TCG|retro card}} in the English {{TCG|Evolutions}} expansion, originating from the Japanese {{TCG|Expansion Pack 20th Anniversary}} subset, featuring the same artwork as the original print and an updated card template reminiscent of the Original Series layout.
