Shota Kageyama

Shota Kageyama (Japanese: 景山将太 Kageyama Shota) is a video game composer who did work on the soundtrack to Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver and Pokémon Black and White. He is also known for his work in Luminous Arc and various other Capcom games. Outside of Pokémon, he was most recently featured as a part of the composition team in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
On 1 January 2014, Shota Kageyama post on his Twitter that he has left Game Freak. He notes that he’s “graduating” from the company after having spent the past 6 and a half years there and is branching out to do his own thing with his new company, Spica Musica.
