| '''Rudy's Starmie''' was one of the pokemon [[Rudy]] chose in his gym battle against {{Ash}}, it was shown to be powerful and fast, two attributes which are typical of Starmies. As with most of his pokemon, Stamie was proficient in modern dance, and used it to help avoid attacks thrown at it by Ash's Squirtle. Despite being quick and having {{m|Thunderbolt}} at it's disposal, it was ultimately weakened by {{TP|Ash|Squirtle}}'s newly learned {{m|Hydro Pump}}, and finished with a {{m|Skull Bash}}.
