The Pokémon Trainer Fan Club is an organization spread throughout the Pokémon world, with at least one Club House in nearly every region. It is basically a place for people to meet and chat about their favorite Pokémon and to show off their collections to each other. In general, the members are usually more oriented to unevolved, cute Pokémon and Pokémon Contests than Pokémon battles. However, the club in Hoenn is dedicated more to famous Trainers. The Pokémon Trainer Fan Club has branches in almost every region; Hoenn, Kanto, Sinnoh, and Unova.

Kanto

In Kanto, the Fan Club is located in Saffron City. It only exists in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen.

Hoenn

In Hoenn, the Fan Club is located to the right of the Pokémon Center situated in Lilycove City. Once the player has defeated the Pokémon League, several members of the fan club announce themselves as fans of the player. In addition to this, and before the completion of the Pokémon League, there will be other members who are fans of some non-player characters. These include Gym Leaders such as Norman, Elite Four members such as Glacia, the Champion Steven, and also the most recent person to have mixed records with the player's game cartridge. Winning or losing in Link Battles respectively increases or decreases the number of members who are supporting the player.

Sinnoh

In Sinnoh, the Fan Club is located to the right of the Poké Mart situated in Hearthome City. The Pokémon Fan Club Chairman talks about how his Fan Club is number one nationwide because he brags more than anyone. However, he doesn't do it anymore because of people's complaints. This may also explain why only one other member who is also a friendship rater, is found inside his club, apart from several Pokémon; specifically being a Buneary, Clefairy, and a Psyduck. From time to time, an Interviewer can also be found here to interview the player about their party Pokémon.

Unova

In Unova, the Fan Club is located near the Icirrus Gym situated in Icirrus City. Only two members reside here, one being the chairman himself. If the player shows him a Pokémon, depending on how many levels it has gained since it was captured or hatched, he may reward the player with an Exp. Share, Cleanse Tag, or King's Rock. The other member is a friendship rater, who will also rate the friendship of a Pokémon in the player's party. A Krokorok and Munna can also be found within the club itself, presumably belonging to both of its members.
