Pokémon Team Turbo is a Pokémon spinoff game designed for PCs, produced by ValuSoft. It features 6 racing courses and 5 minigames that can be played to earn powerups for races. The game is not very well made, as there is no depth or replay value at all, there is only one music file, and some files can easily be changed such as the music and credits. From the main menu, one can choose to do any of the 6 races (without powerups from minigames), any of the 5 minigames, or do an "Adventure Mode" in which you do the races in order, with minigames in between each to earn you extra powerups.

Racing Courses

  • The Street Race: Race Pokémon riding in giant Poké Balls around the straight track and collect dominoes with letters in your name for boosts which you can use at any time.
  • Dirt Track Insanity: A more difficult version of Street Race in which players must be careful not to spin out from hitting pictures of opponents. In Adventure Mode, you can use boosts earned in Charizard's Crossword Challenge.
  • Grand Prix: A yet more difficult version of the street race where very good turning is needed to win. You collect the letters of your name for instant boosts of speed.
  • Aqua Mania: A relatively fast track in which you collect green shapes for boosts, and red shapes make you spin out.
  • Snow Insanity: A downhill track where you can collect numbers in order to get boosts.
  • The Marathon: The final race. It is a mix of all of the past fields, with no powerups.

Minigames

  • Charizard's Crossword Challenge: A Pokémon-themed crossword puzzle which earns you boosts for Dirt Track Insanity depending on how many hints you had left.
  • Bulbasaur's Domino Dash: A game in which you connect dominoes inside a certain shape. Depending on how many hints you had left, you will earn Spark Showers to use in the Grand Prix course.
  • Mudkip's Word Finder: A Pokémon word search game. If you find all the words, you earn Furret Speed for Aqua Mania, and if you find the "extra word", you earn Super Furret Speed in the Aqua Mania course.
  • Skitty's Block Out Game: A version of Tetris featuring Pokémon in place of blocks, and blocks of one. You must line them up in the way it says. If you win, you earn many Nitro Nuts to use on the Snow Insanity course.
  • Squirtle's Door Dilemma: A guessing game in which Squirtle supplies hints as two who is hiding behind certain doors. You get Water Balloons for The Marathon course equal to how many tries you had left to guess.

Trivia

  • The game spells Rayquaza incorrectly, as "Rayquayza", perhaps indicating a lack of knowledge of the franchise from ValuSoft.
