The Pokémon Stadium 2 is a stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It is named and designed on a game with the same name.

At Nintendo World 2006, it was announced that it would return in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Since then, the official site and blog has used the stage for the unveiling of all Pokémon that come from Poké Balls, excluding Deoxys, with data on the stage itself announced on September 10, 2007. It is the main stage for Pikachu and a character new to the Super Smash Bros. series, Pokémon Trainer. Unlike in Melee, the screen seems to only houses a big Poké Ball according to screenshots shown at this time.

Modes

In each of the modes, you'll also see guest Pokémon.

  • Normal Mode: Identical to the one in Melee, except that it also houses two lines.
  • Ice Mode: This houses a roof. The background also houses a big rock of ice and a house. The stage itself is slippery.
  • Ground Mode: This houses two earth mountains, with a spade and a cart. In the background, fossils of Omanyte/Omastar and Aerodactyl can be seen. The guest Pokémon include Dugtrio and Cubone.
  • Flying Mode: Here all characters' jumps are increased. The background also houses a few windmills. The guest Pokémon include Skarmory.
  • Electric Mode: This mode has been announced; however, it has yet to be shown.

It is, for the moment, the only known Pokémon-based stage in Brawl, and the only known stage that will return from any of the previous games (albeit revamped).
