Pavel Soukup
Pavel Soukup is a voice actor for the Czech dub of the Pokémon anime.
Biography
Pavel Soukup is one of most popular Czech actors and voice actors. He has also worked as a dub director. He is primarily known for dubbing most of Arnold Schwarzenegger's roles in Czech. He has also dubbed many characters played by Patrick Stewart.
Prior to becoming a voice actor, he was a basketball player. He has four children, and enjoys playing tennis.
Pokémon
Soukup joined the series in 2000 when Pokémon began airing in the Czech Republic. His roles included the Narrator and Giovanni. For reasons unknown, Giovanni was portrayed by Jiří Plachý in the first movie, even though Soukup was still on the series.
He returned to voicing the Narrator during the Diamond & Pearl series when it began airing in January 2009.
