Moss rock t.png Moss Rock is a small rock located within Eterna Forest. It was originally thought that leveling up an Eevee nearby would allow it to evolve into Leafeon, but in reality, Eevee will evolve if leveled up anywhere in the forest (except for the Old Chateau and the path that encompasses the outskirts of the forest).

The rock itself is located in the southeastern section of the forest near a formation of trees that resembles a sideways L. Directly to the trees' left is Moss Rock, surrounded by long grass.

In Isshu there is a larger Moss Rock present than the one in Sinnoh in Yaguruma Forest, where Eevee can be evolved to Leafeon. It is located near the South west of the forest.

Unlike its counterpart on Route 217, which was encountered by May and her Eevee, Moss Rock has not yet been seen in the anime despite Ash and his friends spending a three-episode arc in Eterna Forest with Cheryl.

Due to the Moss Rock's absence in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Darkness and Sky, Eevee evolves into Leafeon through the use of the Mossy Rock. As the Moss Rock is also not present in HeartGold and SoulSilver, Eevee cannot evolve into Leafeon at all unless it is traded the other Generation IV games, Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.
