Skitty has a very cute and charming personality. Skitty is always cheerful, and loves to play with mops, string, and its own tail. Skitty can be a bit ditzy at times, though.

May's Skitty (Japanese: ハルカのエネコ Haruka's Eneco) was the third Pokémon caught by May during her travels through Hoenn. It was caught on Route 111. Its voice actress in both English and Japanese is 林原めぐみ Megumi Hayashibara.

Skitty made its debut in I Feel Skitty. Torchic wandered off during a training session and met a sick Skitty who would not eat or battle. Trivia

Skitty seems to be almost a parallel to Dawn's Pachirisu.

  1. Both were the third Pokémon obtained by their trainer.
  2. Jessie had her heart set on catching them and using them for contest purposes.
  3. Both share a similar attitude and habits. These would include chasing their tails, having a lot of energy, and running away from their trainers.
  4. Both use their Japanese voice actresses in both dubs.
