Matron (Trainer class)

A Matron or Fun Old Lady (Japanese: ほのぼのおばあさん Heartwarming Old Lady) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation III games, appearing in Pokémon Colosseum as a Fun Old Lady, and in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness as a Matron. They are hunched over old women who rely on canes. Like many of Orre's trainer classes, they don't specialize in any particular strategy or Pokémon.

Their male counterpart is a Fun Old Man.
