Koya

Koya (Japanese: コウヤ Kōya) is a character in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Adventure.

Koya isn't very friendly, especially to people like Jun. He told him to quit being a Trainer as Jun lost to him.

Koya was shown in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Adventures Book 6, while Mitsumi and Cynthia were battling, the front seats were emptied, so Hareta went to them. He meet Koya and his Pokemon Absol. Hareta tried to pet Absol and ended up getting a punch from Koya. They were about to battle in the stands until Mitsumi stopped them.

Later on, Koya tried to discourage Jun and Hareta in training Pokemon. They were both battling. Koya had a flashback, when he was optimistic trainer and partnered with his Growlithe. His Growlithe lost his couragous soul when he was defeated by a trainer with a Gyarados. He is a serious trainer and is like Paul. He helped defeat Neo Team Galatic.

Koya is a member of the International Police, working with Hansom on the trail of Kaisei.
