Hocus (Japanese: マジック Magic) is a character in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs. He is an elderly magician who enjoys putting on magic shows for the children of Tilt Village. Later on in the game, he is revealed to be evil. Hes was one of the golden armor bearers. He creates an illusion of clouds that the player can walk on. He teleports Pichu into a crate and the player has to guest which one. If the player gets it wrong, a Gardivoir and Vespiquen attack and the player has to catch them. Once the player has found Pichu, the player can continue up the stairs. Once the player is up the stairs, Hocus calls on his Crobat and, with an illusion, makes the Crobat massive. Once the Crobat is caught, Hocus looses his golden armor, Crobat is set free and the illusion finishs.
