Gary's Arcanine is one of Gary's strongest Pokémon.
Its first appearance was in the Viridian City Gym, in the episode The Battle of the Badge. It also appeared in Extreme Pokémon!, in that episode Ash challenges Gary's Arcanine to a race.
Gary's Arcanine lost greatly to Ash's Snorlax in Can't Beat the Heat!, perhaps one of Gary's Arcanine's most notable battles.
