Easter eggs are a secret part of a game or a software that are usually discovered by more experienced players. Throughout the Pokemon series, there are a number of Easter eggs.

Generation I

The truck is considered by some to be an Easter egg. Many rumors floated around during Generation I that it was the location where players could capture Mew, if they used Strength, however this is untrue.

Generation II

Generation III

The same truck that was in Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow still exists in FireRed and LeafGreen. However, there is a more meaningful reason to get to it: a Lava Cookie can be found nearby.

Generation IV

Side games

If a Pikachu from Pokémon Yellow is uploaded to Pokémon Stadium, it will have a number of unique animations and sound effects. Also, if a Pikachu that knows Surf is used, it will have a unique attack animation when it uses this technique.
