Trivia

  • Team Rocket uses the Gyarados submarine again, complete with boosters.
  • The episode title is a reference to the phrase lap of luxury.

Errors

  • Brock's statement that they haven't seen Lapras since "we were in the Orange Islands" is obviously untrue as Brock stayed with Professor Ivy in the Orange Islands and never saw Lapras, Tracey was traveling with Ash and Misty at that point. He may, however, have been told about Lapras by Ash and Misty during their initial trip between Pallet Town and New Bark Town, offscreen.
  • In the English dub Ash mistakenly tells his Lapras to use "Cold Beam" instead of Ice Beam.

Dub edits
